During our life, wether it is childhood, or adulthood. We go through, friendships, relationships, etc. People come and go, wether we are 14 or 20. Yet its the letting go part which is the hardest.
First love
Breakups for example, you never fully get over your first love. Its our first, and nobody wants to let, the first person they loved romantically, and dated, go.
Best friends
Best friends, the drama, the gossip which happens after a fall out. Nobody wants to loose their best friend. The person they trusted, and told everything too.
Toxic friendships
Sometimes, its not them who leave,its us who have to. Not all friendships are good, and yes not all are perfect, but none should be toxic. Once we begin to recognize their toxic behavior, there’s no point in staying just because you want a best friend. Because friendships are supposed to be comfortable, safe, and loving. And though it always seems impossible to leave our bes friend, its possible, and necessary, if the friendship no longer benefits you.
Them leaving you
However, it might be even harder, when its them, who are leaving, you. We may feel helpless, and even once their gone, and its been weeks, we may still grief. Reminiscing all the memories, looking back at old photographs. But we have to let go.
The window and door
When we let go, a new person arrives in our life. When we close a window, we open a door. Sometimes, we may feel like all doors are locked, yet we’ve closed all windows. But time, will prove you wrong. There will always be a next person, after a one, you’ve lost.
Relationships
I cannot speak much about relationships, as I myself, have never been in one. But its very similar. Yet this love, is romantic, sometimes this love may even be stronger.
Its never the end of the world, no matter how it seems
Though at the time, of when a person leaves our life, it may sem as though it is the end of the world. It is not, I like to think of it as a new beginning. The end of something old, and the beginning something new.
