Why is plastic a problem?
Plastic, plastic is a big problem in all our lives now, and there is no easy way of stopping it. You see we have nearly everything we use daily made from plastic. It is going to be hard to stop plastic completely, but we can start from reducing our use of it. As I said plastic is a big part of our lives so it will be hard, but if we all do something then we will all see changes. The main reason for all this climate change and animals starting to be extinct is because of human action and plastic. You see if we didn’t burn plastic or other materials there would be no climate change. If we didn’t use so much plastic, less would be on landfills and less would end up in the oceans which cause animals to die.
Later on, when there will be more forest fires and animals dying, we will be next in line. The reason for that is with no trees no oxygen, no farms and no animals no food so basically we are just killing ourselves in the future and then there will be no time to save us. Mother nature gave us loads of signs to stop this selfishness in all honestly. In the next years our planet will become more and more full of plastic. Soon Earth will just be a big pile of plastic.
Is the human race selfish?
The way I see it is that the human race is selfish because we have the iPhone 11 and so on but we want newer versions/ better ones. We have games on our phone but we want more so we make more, we have cars but we want newer ones and so on and so on. The bad thing with that Is lets say for example AI is becoming more intelligent which might become a problem later on. The deal with nature here is we want more food so we cut trees to make more fields. We want Nutella and chocolate so we cut rainforests down. Those are only some examples of the selfishness of the human race but there are many more.
How we can reduce using plastic ?
Some ways we can reduce using plastic is switch from buying a new plastic bottle each day and just get a glass one which you can use all the time and it saves u money. Another way is using only one plastic bag for shopping instead of buying multiple. Those are only some ways that we can reduce the use of plastic you can even make up some on your own. If all of us do at least one of these things there will be a big change to our environment and we will all see it.
The changes would involve less animals dying so that the next generations would know how a tiger looks like, less forest fires so more oxygen and if we somehow stopped at least some factories we would have climate change and the weather would go back to normal. So, the way I see it most of these problems are cause by plastic but mostly humans.
